Trigger Points¶
To create a trigger point, you must store a booth design image first! To make your booth interactive, it is possible to freely define "areas for interaction" with the booth editor. Such interaction areas are called "Trigger Points" and are a clickable rectangle that overlays the booth design image. Interactions that can be triggered by clicking a trigger point are described below.
Example: You can place a coffee machine in the design. When you click on this machine, the contact information of your company appears.
To create a trigger point, first click on "Create Trigger Point":
On the right side the properties of the trigger point can be edited accordingly:
Click on “Save Booth” after completion.
Available types of Trigger Points¶
Info text¶
You can create a simple information text that is displayed in a popup when the Trigger Points is triggered. This type is especially useful for short messages to the user, which can be accessed with a single click.
Video¶
Here a video is embedded directly into your stand. The video can be started by a single click of the user. This type is useful for placing a company or product trailer video on the back of your booth or on a screen somewhere in your booth. Supported video sources are:
YouTube
Vimeo
Individual mp4 files
Note
We strongly recommend using one of the two platforms mentioned above to host your video content instead of providing your own MP4 file. Using MP4 videos can severely limit the user experience within your booth!
Documents¶
This type allows you to upload multiple files to the system, which can then be downloaded by visitors to your stand. Each file can be described separately. If you click on the trigger point, a popup will open showing the list of available documents and their respective description.
URL Link¶
To lead the visitor to an external resource, a trigger point can also be defined as a normal link. Use this type of trigger point to lead the visitor to your website, contact form or any other type of resource that is not presented directly at the booth.
